William Katz: Urgent Agenda

MR. PRESIDENT, PHONE HOME – AT 8:10 P.M. ET: Actually, don't phone home. Phone your attorney general. You guys should speak occasionally to get your act together. While Holder was refusing to utter the words "Islamic extremism" in Washington, and was still evasive about whether terror trials will be held in New York – even angering Democratic congressmen from New York City – where was the boss? Why, he was in New York City, telling the guys on the front line of terror just how much he loves them. It's real love, not puppy love:
I'm sure everyone was deeply moved.
Learn? Learn? Your attorney general has learned nothing. He just thinks the guys who planted the latest bomb may or may not be Muslim extremists. Y'know, you don't want to jump to conclusions. Maybe they felt they paid too much for their theater tickets. Look, it's an election year. The White House is running the 2008 "Hey, I'm a moderate" script. Wait 'til the election is over for the real Obama. May 13, 2010 |
